Edinburgh based snooker team looking for players

You've a star! Leave it for now and I will enquire next time. I'm at the snooker club and find out who the best person to speak to is. My closest club is Ballroom Meadowbank. Hope your day goes well. Appreciate your help.

Sound. Lots of the teams play out of Meadowbank. For info there’s a new team entered the league this season playing out of Meadowbank. They call themselves The Nomads or something similar. I noticed that they’d only registered 4 players. Four is the minimum number for a team so imo they need someone else just in case of sickness etc. Personally I think six is the optimum number to provide for a little bit of completion for places lol.
A lot of the teams with a decent squad of players operate a system that if you win or draw your match you play the following week. If you lose you’re dropped and have to wait a few weeks to get picked again. Tough school ha ha.
Last week was the first league match of the new season so good time to join.

Thanks for the info. The 'tough school' approach seems fair enough and I think it would help me to keep working on my game and keep striving to get better and be more consistent. All good. Will let you know and will update this thread on how I get on when I ask about team(s) at Meadowbank. Cheers.
