Average temp is about 25C but the venue (and hotel) is air conditioned so that's good. Forecast shows sunny for the whole time we're there, not even showers.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I leave today (Saturday) at 9:50pm and arrive Monday at 3:15am. Gotta check the weather again just to ensure no heavy rain and I remembered to pack my sunglasses although as the venue is right across the road from the hotel I don't know how much sun I'll see.

I am amazed the draw isn't up as yet as it's now almost 7pm Bangalore time on Saturday and play starts Tuesday morning.

These tables will be new 6811 and will be like greased lightning so I would take that shot on if I figure there's any chance of getting position.

Now need to send you a link Les, it is always on the IBSF website. Last time it was held in Bangalore (4 years ago I think) they streamed every table for all matches with a schedule available where you can see which table I'm on (or Allen or Paul for that matter).

Visited the site Terry, they have the list of all the players in all the categories but I couldn't see anything about whether it will be streamed or not, maybe they will put it up a bit closer to match time.
