Hello! I’d like to tell you about our club snooker tournament. It held in Russia, Saint-Petersburg. We called it “Gavan snooker open” (“Gavan” is a harbour - the oldest district in Saint-Petersburg)

If you were born in UK do not expect to see the snooker you are used to. However sometimes our players can show a decent game. The maximum break on record is 65 although we hope to see a century every tournament. We play ten-red snooker (no miss) to make it faster.

By the way, the tournament on November is finished. It was a good event, everythig was great. Oleg Suchkov made 71 it is the best break of the season. Ivan Kakovskiy won 4-3 in final. We hope he will play well in India he going to.

97 is the highest break possible. Unless of course there is a free ball situation at the start of the frame.

Thank you very much! Although I don't play (Im 43, I am the organizer of this tournament) Im sure it is good for snooker in Russia. There is only one tournament like this in Russia.
By the way, does anybody even go to Russia? It would be divine if you could join to "Gavan snooker open". If you are able to make 70 - its easy £170 ) It is limited to 16 players, but you can expect to get wild card.

Glad to show the movie from our last tournament. That time there were two girls and both of them played well. They are Darya Sirotina and Nastya Nechaeva who were 2th and 3th at IBSF.
