Derby Pro am Tournament tomorrow! 20/09/2015

Hi guys. Just like to let you all know that there is a handicapped tournament tomorrow at Cueball Derby. There is usually a good turnout for this. So put down that keyboard and pick up that cue!

Hi there. Just a brief rundown on yesterdays pro-am.
Was a good turnout again with 40+ runners. As always you can ring to confirm or just turn up on the day. Owing to the numbers this was a straight knockout, with a plate for 1st round losers! (me) lol. I played one of the lads from my neck of the woods (stoke). I lost 3-2. Didn't make good the few chances I got.
Stoke professional Liam Highfield was in attendance too! I believe he lost in the main Semi-final to Nottingham amateur Dave Boulton. My best effort on the day was reaching the Plate final. I lost to yet another fellow stokie Peter Antrobus 2-0. I should have got it to 1-1 but it wasn't to be.

I might add also that during the day I had a bit of a knock with some of the lads from Leicester in between matches. I managed to do a Pot red from break off (again) after calling it!!!
