  • What do you need for a livestream and commentary

Trying to organise a livestream with commentary for a amateur competition. Can someone point me in the right direction of somebody that can help? Also podcasts.

Don't want a quick fix it with mobile phones. Properly done with maybe 4-6 tables linked up with commentary and tables and livescores

Unfortunately the terms 'amateur competition' and 'properly done' don't co-exist. The reason is in order to get a 'proper' live steam 'done' will cost a good chunk of money which an amateur event may not necessarily have available.

you can livestream to youtube provided you have an account and become a partner.

you may want to read the link below how to do this.

also this link explains how to setup the youtube channel

as long as you have the equipment the rest isn't too difficult

I'd recommend the Facebook live stream they now have available. You have to use a phone with a decent camera so your gonna need a tripod to place it correctly. If you want to do commentary also, you will need a mic which you can buy on ebay for about 3 quid that plugs directly into the phone.
Then its just a matter of going live on your own profile and sharing it to large snooker groups and fan pages and you'll have hundreds if not thousands viewing if its a decent match.
