That's not a bad idea at all Shockerz.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Would just have to how much and decide what to do with the deposit if you end up with it.

I vote the organiser should get it!

best advice for it is get some other poor bugger to run it, save the hassles and mithering and stress from midnight calls asking for a rules clarification in a grudge final frame etc.....

I have run the Thames Valley Singles Summer League for 9 years now. Started it off my own back as had nothing to play in during the summer months.

We normally get 20 entries, split into four groups. Top 2 go through to knockouts and in the last couple of years I've started a Plate Knockout for those finishing 3rd and 4th to keep interest if there are two runaways in your group.

          25 quid entry
Pay out to Winner, R-Up, SF and QF as well as Plate Winner and R-Up.
6 frame matches in groups, 1 point per frame
          QF best of 7
          SF best of 9
          Final best of 11

No handicaps, but it's easy enough to implement. I would use your league handicaps if you've nothing else to go on.

Home players contact away players to arrange matches, and also cover light costs. Free play in knockouts.
