I want to take part in PIOS?

Hi everyone I am very keen on playing the PIOS event next year.I have got a reasonably good game I make 50 - 60 breaks quite frequently{once in 3-4 frames} My highest break is 126.I have a reasonably good understanding of the game.Is my level good enough for the PIOS?

Its very difficult to judge someone without having seen them play.
When I'm playing well I'm knocking in 60+ breaks for fun but that doesn't mean I'd do well in a PIOS event. Personally I think I'd do OK but I wouldn't be interested in playing unless I thought I could win.

The standard is pretty high, quite a number of ex professional players as well as some very good up and coming youngsters.
I'm not one to say whether or not anyone is good enough, you would have to experience it for yourself.

Your best bet would be to play in one of the pontins festival events first and see how you do and take a look at the standard of the other players. Many of whom play in PIOS events.

Thanks Cueman! Yes thats true matchplay is totally different from practice or playing in a club.

well..just come to uk then if ure good enough and pay 1000pounds to join..if i could play as good as u..i'd rather play in the club for money..
