Snooker lovers can pocket themselves some prize money while raising cash for a good cause at Hucknall's Spot-On snooker club.
For Graham Turnbull (26) is running a charity competition at the club on Vine Terrace in aid of Cancer Research.
Graham has been a member at the club since he was 14 and decided to launch the tournament in aid of a charity bidding to fight a disease that has affected his family and friends in the past.
Graham is originally from Hucknall but now lives in Top Valley. He admits to "playing snooker and pool religiously" in Hucknall and the surrounding area.
The competition will run over two days on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30. The action will start at 11 am on the Saturday.
It costs £10 per person to enter and the winner and runner-up will receive a cash prize with the rest of the money going to charity.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 and Graham hopes to have 64 entrants in place when the potting begins.
But he will still run the competition if there are more than 32 participants.
Said Graham: "I hope that a lot of people will want to take part because it is for a very good cause."
If you are interested in entering the competition, pop into Spot-On to register or give Graham a call on 07828 673585.
