SNOOKER-loving girls have the chance to compete alongside four-time women’s world champion Reanne Evans on the national circuit – for free.
The World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association is offering a scholarship package worth more than £300 which includes free membership and tournament entries to every girl who is aged under 16 in September.
Eleven-year-old Hannah Jones, from Derby, is one young girl who has taken advantage of the scheme. Hannah, who represented England at the IBSF World Championships in Thailand last November, was crowned World Ladies Junior Champion at Cambridge in May.
