Not bad in Lanarkshire, still a Lanarkshire league although interest is waning. Only forty odd players playing national events in Scotland which for a country with such a history in the game is very sad.

Only two at the last national billiards event!

The Southampton & District Social Clubs League has 85 five-man snooker teams playing in six divisions every week.

The junior scene is at an all-time high.

We have four players on the EASB Premier Junior Tour and a fair sprinkling on the EASB Regional Junior Tour (South). And women's world number seven Suzie Opacic and ten-year-old century-breaker Shane Castle.

Junior leagues thrive at Chandler's Ford SC and The Academy in Eastleigh and many of the youngsters play in the Southampton and Winchester lesagues.
