It happened on the Grand National and it might well happen at snooker, but if I were to pick three that may uspet the odds in Sheffield it would be either-

Robertson, Allen, Walden...I'm sticking with these guys.

Another good read Matt - once again, I must ask, when is part 3 due? I'm itching to read what you think about Willians/Hendry and Ding/Liang.

Also, you haven't really predicted any blowouts thus far.

I've written them all already but I'm staggering them over a few days so I don't end up with nothing to post before the start of the event

I know what you been about the blowouts, it's a weird tournament this year in so far I don't think that there are many total mismatches as may have been the case in the past. It might turn out that there are a few 10-2 drubbings but I'd find it hard to predict what they would be before the start of the event. Think 10-4 is about as big a win as I've gone for.

Predictions are just a bit of fun, indeed if I knew what was going to happen then I'd be off down the bookies to put some money on but there have been so many shocks during the last two or three years that even the most logical predictions can count for nothing.

Am really indecisive about one match actually, the Fu/Swail one, I'm really torn on it.

Is there any reason Ronnie's not on your list? The high chance of meeting Ebdon in round two I guess?
