Mike Wooldridge black shark

I've just ordered a Mike Wooldridge Black Shark cue. Has anyone got one of these? I've always played with cheap cues and I've decided to go a bit extra and buy from someone reputable.
How long does one of his cues usually take to deliver?

i thought they where supposed to be his affordable range of cue i just had look on his vcm and a custom shark comes in at over 400 with both extensions and the only thing you can customise is the front splice you can change the specs smaller but you cant increase them. i have no doubt they are good cues but for that price you could have a cue made by robin cook or trevor white to your exact specs with both extensions with cash to spare.

Black Shark

I've got a white shark as backup for my Pro 3 and I can tell you It's a terrific cue. Any cue you get from Mike will be second to none.

My Black Shark was 160 pounds. I consider that more than affordable considering the quality of the product. If you want custom, of course you would have to pay more.

buy it off the peg and it is cheap and affordable, start messing about adding poncey bits to it and it will get expensive.

Mike has real quality cues all across the board. Buy what you can afford. Nothing will disappoint.

I have bought a Mike Wooldridge "Black Shark" cue about 6 months ago. It took about 2 weeks to deliver (if it is custom made it will take longer). Before this cue I had also only played with cheap cues, Black Shark cue is without doubt the best cue I have ever played with. Well worth the money.
The only thing I didn't like was the tip that was put on it. I got a Mike Wooldridge lamenated tip through ebay and replaced the tip. My game has improved dramatically since.
