I don't think that Hendry is so washed up as some of you try to present him. He is still 12th on the provisional rankings with 25625 points, so i don't see a threat for him droping out of top 16 this year. The bad thing is that he will start the next year down provisionaly because on the one year list he has something over 8000 points. But he needs few good runs in rankers next year to keep his place in top 16 for the 2010/11 season.

Actually I believe he is in danger of dropping out of the top 16, but I agree that he is no wash-up pro. I think Steve Davis looks worst than Hendry as far as potting ability is concerned, but mentally, Steve is better prepared somehow.

I can't see him droping out of the top 16 this year. Just look at the potential top 16 players from17th to 24th place. Ebdon, Stevens, King, Bingham, Swail, Walden, Davis and Cope. They are all in the range between 21000+ to 23000+. Few of them should enter into the top 16 to eventualy put out Hendry. With only two events left their chances are slim. And i can't see any of them perform better than Hendry at the Crucible, exept maybe Ricky Walden who has not even qualified for that event yet.
