i think ali will only have to mind his work and have consistant results to end up in the top 4.

He'd better finish in the top 3, I don't wanna regret cheering for him in the Welsh Open final

Well if he keeps on winning matches in ranking events and has a good Crucible run then he will probably be in the Top 3. Watch and see I guess.

Well if he keeps winning games in ranking events and has a decent Crucible run like last year then I believe he definitely will have an opportunity to be in the Top 3. Wait and see I guess.

Carter will lose first round in China if he's faced with a Top 32 qualifier or Top 16 player. It's possible seeing as he won the previous tournament. It's certainly unlikely for him to win it. I just think he's had a really consistent season that he's due for a first-round defeat (I'm going to exclude Bahrain because it was clear that he wasn't bothered as he said he was).

No disrespect to Ali, great guy but I think he's due for a first-round defeat. As for the crucible, I think he will get to the Semis, at least, only to be stopped by...dun, dun dun...Mark Selby!

I feel Ali will round off this season with a good run in both the China & World Championship. I have been impressed generally with his form over the 18 months, & with his recent win at the Welsh It's only going to make him a more dangerous animal & if he had a plenty of self belief before that win he's going to have it in spades now!
