Ok Neverstop that's an admirable goal, and practicing 6/7 hours a day is very dedicated. Maybe if you could spare 10 minutes of your practice time to do a video clip of you clearing the colours off their spots, this would provide better insight for the more capable players on here who understand good technique etc (that's not me btw ) to give you some productive advice.

You’ve got to understand Tom’s and CC’s scepticism here mate? We don’t have much to go off, just a zoomed in video clip of what looks like a very amateurish cue action and your talk of knocking in a century a day after mentioning a tweak to a very dodgy looking cue action? It’s hard to believe. There are many very good standard players on this forum and we do get a few dreamers on here from time to time, trying to big themselves up. Not saying that’s what your doing but c’mon, a century, 70-80 breaks and talk of going pro? It doesn’t add up from what I’ve seen so far? Can you prove us all wrong? What comps have you been in? Who have you played of any note? You must have played and beaten some good players to even consider going pro!

A personal question, how old are you by the way? Tying to go pro past your late 20’s 30’s is probably going to be a struggle…

nothing wrong with admiring and wanting to go pro or at least semi pro. Yea 70/80 breaks are not great I know but I know I can do it! I am well past the age to make it pro (30 now) but nothing stop me trying get to that standard if you consider I have only be playing snooker for 2 years and only dedicated my time during the past 2 months.

Lastly, all the above I said can be ignored complete I don’t care, all I want is to understand what other top player feel when they go through that cue ball and work more in my game…the rest just numbers
70/80 breaks are good mate… forget tons! I’d rather be able to knock in regular 70’s under pressure than a ton any day. I’d say if your getting 70’s in good amateur comps then your a bloody good player! Knocking in tons in comps regularly and your basically pro level!

Sorry bud, playing 2 months and getting a ton is just nonsense.. You’d have to have been very good as a kid or playing regular for 2 or 3 years before you get anywhere near that level in a game. It just doesn’t happen.

Makes more sense! Looked like a 9 ball break-off shot

76+ and the frame is won? So yeah 70/80 breaks are good enough for snooker. Tons are just crowd pleasers

I might get a seventy / eighty break a couple of times a month and I play every day

Things are going great Steve, I realised how rubbish I was when I swapped a club table for a templated table with no undercut but I love it. I cue so much better and more accurate now. Still knocking balls into cushions but I'm looking good doing it.

I know what you mean! My problem now is I’m spoilt with my own table so when I do play on other tables it takes ages to adapt my game.. by which time it’s usually to late!

You played ten thousand shots? Please seek medical advice, I'm gravely concerned.
