    I've never seen that before, good spot. I would suggest never grip like that but that's one of the best players ever and Stephen Hendry doing it, so what do I know.

      I have seen some other players used this grip as well, when their bridge hands needed to reach far forward...maybe then the back hand was too close or touching to the body?
      Dennis Taylor said he used this grip at the last black against Steve Davis, 1985. (That should be the most important shot in his life!)

        I take it Taylor has done that to try and prevent a snatch.

            Yeah Andrew Higginson, not sure who the other fella is but my pal said it was Steve Hindry or Hendry, or something like that. Never heard of him if I'm honest, is he any good?

                So, Andrew Higginson, Stephen Hendry, Dennis Taylor, and many other players, in some situations, for some reasons, they use this grip, that the outsiders know nothing about it.
