You need to stand with your right foot about two inches to the right of the cue ball (width of your foot) and get down on that line keeping your right foot two inches to the right of the cue ball in order to keep your natural left eye sighting on the line as you get down. Do not adjust your feet in any way as you get down, ie: twist or turn one foot or the other as this will also twist and turn your body.
This is the basics of sightrite, you need to stand where your natural sighting sees the line of aim.
It won't be easy to rectify but it's something you must do as you're playing across the line all the time as the butt of your cue is left of the line while the tip is on the line when addressing centre cue ball. Practise adjusting your stance on the baulk line as in your video and check the butt is on the line by placing cue ball on green or yellow spots and lowering the butt onto the side rail to see where it lies.

Thanks for the video, it's a great help to actually see the mistake being made rather than having to argue with someone who's convinced he has different eyes to the rest of us.
It's all about stance and then keeping still on the shot, but if the butt is bang on the line then everything else becomes so much easier.
    Good post Vmax …

giving my initial observations having not read the posts of others (who i'm sure have offered good advice) it looks to me as if you're trying to fit your body into a telephone box. I'm guessing you have a boxer like stance and everything looks as if you're doing your best to make sure everything is nicely in line yet you're not giving yourself the space you need to do this properly.

      For me you can fix this by doing the following;

      1) stand behind and pick your line of aim and 'walk' into the shot (don't slump or fall, actually walk into the shot)
      2) Try and have your right foot, chin, elbow (on cueing arm) in a straight line (this can be 'ish', we're all made differently and your action still needs to be comfortable). Your two feet want to be shoulder width apart with your left foot ever so slightly ahead of the right foot (6 inches should do)

If you do the above you should have a stable base to play from. At the minute it's a miracle you're making 30 breaks with the current cue action, you must have a decent level of natural hand eye coordination!

More than happy for you to drop me a DM with any questions, good luck

Thanks everybody for the answers, I just hit my highest break in a match, 93 break, maybe I should just not worry about the cue action

I'm a 30 break standard player, been playing for years
I miss everything to the right
posts video showing cueing across the line
hits a 93 break despite the above and claiming maybe no advice was needed or even taken.

We try to help genuine cases on this forum but I'm starting to feel I'm wasting my time on narcissists looking for attention, I think I'll not bother from now on

If I was you, I would consider cueing more across the line, you might knock in centuries then.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

I have played 30 frames after that break and I'm back to my regular 30 break standard, I did not mean to offend or take the **** out of anyone, I can't pot a long ball to save my life so I am working very hard to fix this problem and I won't be an consistent player of I don't.
