  • Back Elbow tucking in after/during delivery

I have trying to do the up and down for a couple of weeks now and I still haven't figured it out perfectly. I have been putting marginal left hand side on every shot when aiming at the centre or even on the right. I decided to record myself doing this and saw that my back elbow was tucking in as I went through the cue ball( like Ronnie does on some shots.). I have been trying to deliver deliver that hand straight. It happens infront of the mirror but when I play a shot and record it I see that it's still coming in. Please help.

I didn't had this problem earlier. I used to have my back elbow in a different place. A year ago, I made modifications in my stance. I moved my left leg a bit farther than before and started bending more. This helped me tremendously in break building. From 30s and 40s, I started making centuries in routines but my long potting and safety play suffered tremendously.
HOw can I bring my back elbow in a straight line?

Hi there. If your leading leg (right leg) is directly over and in line with the line of aim, and you used a square stance. Your elbow would be outside of your body. As an example. So to cure this, you need to stay behind the line of aim with your leading leg. However, as you get into position. You need to rotate you hips by twisting to the right. This will bring your shoulder behind your head position. Fixing this issue.
    Cheap and Cheerful! 😄
