Thanks all, next match is wed but im nervous about that, cos i havnt re-tipped my cue yet and ive been playing with an old cue i have, pretty well.

When i re-tip the other cue and start playing with it, will i miss everything and take weeeks to get use to it?

I hope not for your sake although for some getting used to a new tip let alone a new cue can take longer than others.

I hope not to, but i cant really see it making a huge difference. Im only going without my original cue for 3 days!

Hopefully then your like me, I can pick up a cue and play virtually as good as with my own but some people arent as blessed in this fashion.

Thanks for the replies. Il hopefully have my cue all sorted by sunday, so that gives me 3 days practice before the next match on wed.
