  • paddle motion doing feathers

hi everybody, I have a unwished extreme paddle motion doing my feathers on my backarm by ellbow dropping, play short bridge and long grip. not a beginner. grip not too tight, cue level on the table. any helps?

Open your grip hand on the back swing(I'm guessing paddle motion means an up and down motion). If it's a side to side also open your hand but also get your four contact points of grip hand, bridge hand, chin and the cue brushing along your chest, this will help you getting the cue going straighter.
Not sure what you mean by short bridge and long grip, could you explain that a bit more, thanks.
Do you mean a long back swing or your grip arm is behind vertical, which can cause an elbow drop on the backswing, I don't quite follow.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

yes up and down motion meant by paddle. I play short bridge hand but grip the cue on the back completely out. big distance between bridge and playing hand

I don't know what else to say, it should hang down straight vertically, not behind or in front of it.

I think it has something to do with my too low elbow height postion during feathers before striking the ball.

Could be, that's why you need to have your back arm vertical and open your hand on the way back.
