  • Good and bad sources of online/written coaching

Can anyone please tell me of any good YouTube sources for coaching videos (and any to avoid) please?

Also, although I know they are going out of favour, are there any good coaching books. I know they aren't the favoured medium now, but I learn better from a book. In particular, is "147 snooker drills and exercises" by Highfield and Horrix worth getting? Thank you.

First place that comes to mind is Steve Barton (on here as well)

Snooker pro tips by Neilmaxman comes to mind, covers everything and explains sidespin better than anyone I've found online. Avoid any ex pros as they haven't a clue how they did it so can't explain the whys and wherefores.

but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Barry Stark seems to have helped Kyren Wilson.

Thank you DeanH, vmax and Nitty50. There looks to be plenty to keep me busy, but at least I know I will be looking at decent coaching videos.
