  • how to make myself hungry for the game again?

Feel really fed up, can a short break away from the game regain my appetite for the game?

yes, this happens to me all the time. Take about 4 - 5 days off of snooker, then you will want to play snooker again and enjoy it when you do.

Or as in my case, 4 - 5 months. But now I'm back and love it more than ever!

Yeah, totally agree. I lost interest and got fed up with the game a year or two ago. I took a couple of months off and then played again when i really wanted to. It was like starting over again. I think sometimes you also have to change your view of it and remember its a game to be enjoyed. Its very easy to get bogged down into only enjoying it if you play well but I stopped playing in the league which i had stopped enjoying and started playing friends again and my love affair returned!

One year I even snapped my cue in half to stop myself playing cos i was so fed up. I got a new one a month later and felt a lot better (i wouldnt recommend quite so extreme measures!).

yeah i guess, you should only play if you're enjoying it imo.

why not try joining a league or something to make it more exciting?
