hi ive seen a couple of coaching vids and it says that at the follow through of the shot your fist should contact your chest my fist seems to be nowhere near my chest anyone else the same?

It doesn't HAVE to hit the chest. Steve Davis plays like that and look how he got on..

In Steve Davis' book (the one currently on here in the thread Sharing: Steve Davis-Successful Snooker) he says that he tried hitting his chest every time but he became so bruised he stopped doing it. By nowhere near do you mean out to the side or far back?
