  • del hill vs. snooker academy

If you have enough money... What would you choose? To go on del hill's snooker farm or you would rather go to Sheffield's snooker academy? Which one is better?
You cannot improve your game if you don't have a cue and snooker table

i would go to del's snooker farm. It seems so much more personal instead of group sessions. Del's a top bloke also

I have done both although my visit to the academy was back in the days when it was at Northamptonshire. Both days were excellent but I agree with 'Scoo' that Del Hill is the perfect choice. My day with Del was not only great 'one to one' tuition but Del is a genuinly nice guy and I could have listened to his snooker stories for days!!

I take it it's expensive then to go to this snooker farm, how does it work? Can you go on like courses for a few weeks, or do you pay day by day?

                    Very expensive. http://delcoachessnooker.com/default.aspx
40 pound an hour coaching. 100 pound a day to stay, 500 a week. But I'd really love to go there.

No, I haven't but my mate has been and told me it was the best experience of his snooker life. It showed on the table, too :snooker:
From what he says, it sounded like the perfect blend of snooker practice and leisure activities

I suppose that does sound quite expensive, but if it's something you really fancy doing and manage to fit in around work and whatever else, i say go for it. I'm definitely thinking about going there.
