hi everyone,
just thought id add this post. i may update this regularly as a blog. feel free to respond or read through. OR.... Neither
well to begin with. i had major problems in my game mainly because i didnt enjoy practicing. i would change cue action and all sorts.
well.. as simple as it sounds i would like to thank rocketroy. i now set myself goals as to what i want to do. and im beginning to reach some kind of consistancy where as before, i would just pot and pot.
mainly i am doing only line-ups simply because i want to achieve something in this before moving on. i would like to make 100+ or clear before moving deeply into something else.
several months ago, my highest was 53 in line-ups. with no practice i only started my routine of going regularly last saturday. and straight away i was suprised to knock in a 40 and 50. although this wasnt impressive as i did this in about 3 hours!!!
well things happened and my cue action changed itself. now feeling more comfortable, within 2 days of solid practice (7 hours per day) my arm is now cueing quicker and i can recognise the angle more accurately when down on the shot.
yesterday in my first 7 hour session, i had about 2 50s, several 40s, several 30s and a 60!!. so i already beat my record.
and today and had MORE 30s, 40s, 50s, and got 61. so something seems to be going right, although i do miss silly shots and get an 8 break lol.
please feel free to use this to compare your sessions of snooker and the progress you are making in your game.
THANK YOU!!
Nicholas
