I play the Line-up alot. Especially if I visit a Club on my own. But I think it fools me into thinking I'm better than I am. I mean the colours are on their spots. The reds are all spread, there is no pack to split. Unless I'm careless I only ever leave a short range pot. The next time I play I will remove the pink then smash the apex of the reds from the D. Then I will respot the pink and play from where the cueball lies. Apparently this is how Mr. Maximum WT used to compile 147s.

Played the line up tonight and got an 81 (using at least 1 cushion on each shot) its a very good exercise.

I been wondering, a friend of mine told me when doing a line up i should try to reach the position i want and pot at the same time and if i missed 7-8 times (he said its been told by a coach the name is not in my mind atm :s) i just stop reseting and continue trying to pot and position the other ball.

due to the subconcious mind that understand the angle within another day even if i didnt pot it or made position,.. is it true ? or did he miss guided me ? :/

thats an awesome idea Noel. no wonder how I get frustrated every time i play line ups. I will try this way next time. Just my club may not have enough good balls for me.
