  • Fuzzy Eyes

    Hi all,
We've probably all experienced this at one point. You know, playing 8 or so frames or practicing plenty. The eyes get a little fuzzy and the edges of the balls lose their sharpness. This has been one of my problems lately, partially due to getting older.Just wondering if anyone knows what the pros due to keep their eyes sharper. For example is there a routine of eye exercises they do or some miracle eye drops they use to help tired eyes?............Thanks

I've never had any such problem . Perhaps it'd be best to see an optician ?

Or failing the opticians try some eyewash like Optrex if they have that in your neck of the woods.

If this happens to me I get over it by only ordering the one bottle of single malt.

If your in practice and this starts to happen id suggest calling it a night as your performance wont be as it should and you will leave feeling disappointed. You can always come back the next day.

If this happens in a match I always drink a cup of coffee as early as possible and try splashing your face with cold water and try and get some air in between frames if possible.

i have had this a few times. went to opticians, they made a hospital appointment. they found iris damage. told me to wear tinted glasses when playing. cant play in glasses (as dont wear them) i have found not looking towards any light, or going outside during a match, havent lead to a reoccurence. i first got this 20 years ago and on an off last summer.
