I experienced in a match where my opponent seemed to have bad stomach and made lots of nasty smells. I could not focus as the surrounding space is very limited. What is the best way to focus in these kind of situations?

You cant. Its simply a distraction just like loud music/deliberate slow play or indeed anything. Block it out and do not allow it to distract you.Always play snooker with a smile on your face...You never know when you'll pot your last ball.
