I have noticed that high percentage of shots are full ball,3/4,1/2 or 1/4. Is this true? If you are on a total clearance how many shots out of 36 is going to be one of these 4 shots?

Depends on you style of play and I would say that you are incorrect in you assumptions, a ball may indeed be said to be full ball, 3/4 ball, 1/2 ball, 1/4 ball when the person viewing or describing the shot means "about" 3/4 ball or "about" 1/2 ball
