Hi, all this technical stuff is true enough but the importance of good practice routines cannot be stressted enough either. Playing a frame with your self although being a good practice for the many shots you will face is not the best way to get your cueing sorted. When practicing what the Terry and co have told you keep the shots really simple and gentle to start with. Get to the point when you have 100% confidence in potting the ball you are going for, then move it on.

Got to be able to feel confident in yourself definitely otherwise you're just going to make a balls of it, same as when you are thinking ''OH I'VE GOT TO POT THIS'' it's just asking for a miss, take your time, relax, feel comfortable then progress with all the technical ways to cue... remember though everybody is different and what is right for one person mightened be right for the other.Dark side of the moon

Thanks for the advice everyone yesterday i done some videos of myself trying out the straight bridge arm. and today i practised it more and started leaning into the shot more rather than being cramped. i know i have been told a lot more like the light grip and lowering my bridge etc but im going to do it a bit at a time just so i get it all properly into my game.
so far i have tried to work on
-straight bridge arm
-leaning into the shot
here are some videos of me last night i dont know if they are useful as its a bit dark and i wasnt playing too well.

I think the fourth picture on the right looks the best, your cues seems to be nearer the centre of your chin. I can't see you elbow in this shot, so it's hard to see the total line of the cue. Your moving in the right direction.
Keep working on it your get there soon.:snooker:

Sorry mate I have to say it the way I see it. Personally I don't think your going to achieve any success with the route you’re taking. I don't know how you've come to the conclusion that you have a dominant eye. In order to establish this, your cue has to be on a good line, if your cue is coming in from an odd angle, which it looks like to me, you may just think you have dominant eye. Unless you have some other physical impairment, I would rebuild your whole stance from scratch.

you are not making much sense. people are either right eyed left eyed or even sighted.
