    A mate of mine has suddenly got the YIPS on certain shots and on every shot with the rest..he just cant let the cue go through with the rest..i said i would try to find out anything that would help him..so thought the best place would be here..anyone else ever had this and how to get rid of it if possable.

    i found, i use to just jab with the rest. i fixed this by leaning into the shot, and, cueing a bit lower to the table. this forced me to put my elbow to the side, allowing a clean follow through. also, movve the rest a bit closer, like, not close, but closer, so ur follow through is 3 to 4 inches through the white wen youve done your shot. like, the butt of the cue, should be in your chestor under your eyes, sorta below your face wen drawn back fully. not anywhere that you could see the butt. hope this helps =]

    this is wat ive been told n learnt from my 'coach' lol hes not my coach, but hes ranked as one of the best in australia. mate of mine. he owes me lessons tho. =]
