Just a couple of quick observations having watched the 1st video only:
    1. You feather a bit fast.

    2. Sometimes you have no rear pause.

    3. Your backswing is too long, causing you to decelerate through the ball.

    4. Number one related video according to YouTube, is "New York City Gay Pride Parade 2009."

    Cheers!

From what I can see, and to add Checkside's comments, I think you hit the ball too quick and too hard...causing you to lose the cue ball way too often. Try to slow down a bit your rythm, use a rear pause and shorten your backswing.

      Keep potting! :snooker:

Technically you seem very good, Your action is very similar to Darren Morgan . As for you feathering pheraps it is a little fast , there again look at Peter Ebdon or Tony Knowles . There are also great players with very little puase , O,sullivan and White for example .

Its not easy to change any aspect of your cue action especially if you,ve played the same way for a long time , but if you think you can improve technically and want to experiment , then you have time on your side to do it .

It wont be easy to slow down with your feathering or introduce a pause though , as you have naturally learned to play the way yo do , and if you do ,be prepared for you form to suffer , it wont be plain sailing for a while .

Many players who have a deliberate /pronounced pause have probably manufactured that into their game over a period of time .

Pheraps Terry can comment on this , if he has,nt already . He knows his onions more than most in this department .

im sorry but yes i have been told things before and i have worked on quite a lot of them
1- cue is now not tight against the chest
2- bridge arm is straight not bent
3- ive tried to slow down my backswing and mostly have a rear pause obviously this was just before a tournament so i couldnt really be focusing 100% on my technique i just wanted to get my arm going.

i actually tried working with the slow feathers but right before a tournament i couldnt play with that as my form was really disrupted with the slower feathers but i still tried to get a pause

Only watched a couple of minutes but I've already seen a couple of instances of you delivering the cue, then quickly retracting it a few inches.

Kept the video going as I was writing this - you do this worst of all on the ball you miss!

I'm not an expert, but I would concentrate on eliminating this before incorporating a pause.

Sorry but it's hard to comment when all the videos show is the end of the cue moving backwards and forwards. Maybe if you can't set the camera further back concentrate on one side of the table only so we can see your setup, stance etc.

I'd suggest the right hand side (from where the camera is currently positioned) because then your grip will be visible to the camera when you are leaning over say to pot balls around the pink.

Technical malfunction I had to write the post twice first time it decided to delete it and put the quick reply message... very weird...

On topic I think you should concentrate on slowing your cueing down first and developing a rear pause as ignoring this and working on other things is only ingraining this more into your technique.

EDIT: its doing it every time I post now arrg

seriously, put up some money and get yourself a coach for proper advice. posting videos of yourself and asking people on the net is going to get you nowhere. you pay peanuts, you get monkeys - you pay nothing, you get air.
