The software would be very expensive to buy as it's just been developed in-house by Wayne and his software development outfit.

I had a look at the beta system, which was almost completed, when I was there in January and it is impressive.

It is aimed at any player who can afford the analysis but I would say unless you have a lot of loose change kicking around that only the better players will really benefit from this system as it gets right down to the nitty-gritty of a player's cue action and identifies all the glitches that might be there.

So if you feel you have a pretty good cue action and want to sort it out and turn it into a golden cue action (and you can afford it) then I would highly recommend using this system.

By the way, I loved the software and asked Wayne if I could buy it once it was finished but he told me it would be very expensive for awhile. Since the Dartfish I use retails for around 2,500 quid I figured he meant north of that figure for a copy.

I had a email from Wayne he said it is £3995 which is very pricey for me I was waiting for a long time if I knew it was going to this much I would of not looked twice at it but it is very good this goes to show it's not about talent nomore it is about how much have you got.

Isn't the Snooker Lab avaible somewhere as a Torrent ? It might turn out cheaper for us that way...

BTW, it isnt for 4 pounds it actually is 40 or 75...

When you get expensive specialised software, it's a tough one

4000 quid is just a ridiculous amount to pay for software but given the work put into the program, i guess it is the right price

                        I had a look at Terry's site

Prices a bit too steep for me

For "Home Videoanalysis" I can recommend Kinovea (free and open source, download from http://www.kinovea.org/en/)

The features are sufficient for stroke analysis and visualization.
Especially if you have a digital camcorder that can record at 60fps, which naturally enhances slow motion playback quality.
