  • Back of leg burning

    Morning Gents,

I'm trying to correct my stance as it needs straightening up somewhat.

Whenever I walk into my shots and keep my back leg straight I get a really bad burning sensation all the way down my back leg. Like muscle pain. This is really uncomfortable and effects my shots.

My mate who I play with also has the same thing if he keeps his back leg straight.

Any tips? Perhaps I'm still not standing correctly.

    Thanks

    Dean

Try turning you foot out more but keep your heel in the samre position.
Just point your toes out more to the right. This should help.

        That's a tight hamstring you're describing.

If you stand on the bottom step of a staircase with the balls of your feet on the step and your heels in the air, and allow your bodyweight to drop your heels - this will stretch your calves and hamstrings. You can also do it standing on a level surface and putting your leg (the one you need to stretch) behind you, about the equivalent of one step and pressing your heel to the floor.
I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.

Seems to have gone away on it's own. Unless I've automatically turned the foot out somewhat.

For the record I'm just shy of 6 foot.

Cheers for the help gents :snooker:
