    Can't agree with you golf, as this would mean you would be losing that 6" off your follow-through unless you addressed the ball with your grip arm way behind the vertical which is not a very good idea.

    It's all about accelerating through (and past) the cueball and the address position should be with the grip arm forearm straight down and vertical, so when you strike the cueball you don't go through that vertical spot

      yes terry, you are right, but i dont mean to play like that, i mean to use the cue ball
      as a target. you address the ball as normal stance/grip/everything the same just 6" away from the ball then try to hit it and see where it goes. you must release the cue in order to hit it right. its an old trick in golf too it makes you accelerate through the ball.
