i need advice on the following:
1. once in a while, i get into those situations where the ball is not far off the cushion, but not far enough to let my hand to land on the table. if i try to bridge on the table, it feels too close and there isnt enough space for a lot of back swing.
i bridge on the cushion. but then it feels too far away and i am letting out more than 12'' of the cue.
what should i do?
2. loop bridges (The one with the second finger crossing over the cue and letting the cue lie on the table/cushion)
im not very comfortable cueing near the cushion by laying my fingers flat on the cushion side and palm against the table, especially especially when i am not cuing perpendicularly to the table.
i tried the loop bridge and i dont feel comfortable with that either.
is it just a matter of practice or am i not aware of a third way? or is there room for adjustments to make this more comfortable?
thanks everyone.
