  • Mental help needed

    Hi,

When i am playing a match i am always concerned who i am playing and how good he is compared with myself. So during a match i can never settle down and focus and give it 100% of myself. Any mental approaches can share with me on how to blank out this kind of negative thinking and just focus and play my own natural game and flow?

    Thank you very much

You need to go in with the attitude that you're going to win, no matter who you're playing, whether that's Ronnie O'Sullivan, or your best mate. If you don't go into the match thinking you'll win, you may aswell quit.

I'm reading a very interesting book, although is about golf, it certainly can be use in snooker as well in order to improve your mental skills and others.
Probably you've alrady heard of it,the title of the book is "The Inner Game of Golf" by W.Timothy Gallwey...Perhaps it could help you...
