Using The Rest

i agree with kid dynamite

when using the rest i always put unwanted side on the cue ball and miss easy shots.

maby im not holding the rest right?

whats the advice people ?

position the rest about 30 degrees away from the cue, when the cue is in a straight line for the shot.

if theres balls in the way, hold the rest in the air.

stand slightly "side on" making sure when you are feathering the cueball that the cue is going straight, backwards and forwards.

not too technical, but its a start, unless you wanted it more technical?
