mini butt or telescopic extension

mini butt personally. Hardly use telescopic extension at all.

Definitely the mini-butt with very little use of the long extension.

If you can't afford to get the custom built long extension for your cue perhaps you can find a used slip-on extension for a good price. New, they cost around 30quid from John Parrot's company so used maybe 10 or 15 pounds maybe?

Mini-butt, no question about it. Then again, I play UK 8ball. For snooker, I know I'd need both.

i use the telescopic more often perhaps because i am good with the rest and am moreconfident with the rest than with the mini butt.

in my case because i am tall generally if i need an extension its the long one with a rest because thats where i have to play its not often i would be far enough out of position to need a mini butt. but then i use an extension maximum once or twice per hour of play.

tallguy on the forum is almost 7 feet tall,i dont think i have seen him using a long telescopic extension more than 3-4 times in the past 3 years.
