Hi - I actually run the Snooker Guide website.
abhi147 is right that the guide is designed as a beginners guide for people who are still struggling to get good technique together and have difficulties getting over 30 or 40 breaks.
I do actually plan on working with Daniel again next year to develop some more advanced tutorials to cater for the average players. I have already contacted him about it but at the moment the guide is still only about 8 months old so I am still gathering feedback aswell as recouping my initial development costs.
Hopefully by the start of next season we may have a new option for those players who are above the beginner level.
Not sure where you saw the part about a forum/chat though? This is not part of the site and as far as I am aware this is not advertised anywhere as being the case. Please let me know where you say this so I can take steps to get it corrected.

My name is Paul.
Best way to contact me is to use the contact form here: http://www.snookerguide.co.uk/contact-us.php
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Well, I just had a quick look at the site and was considering a signup. Probably misread something about a forum when I saw the "members area" but I guess that's just for individual logins.
Can you put some of your good content on the home page as a teaser? :snooker: Hollywood puts their best movie clips in trailers and that would be a good way to go for you as well. I don't know Daniel Wells so was a bit hesitant in signing up.
Feedback: the video intro is kinda.. well not adult enough. Daniel acts a bit immature doing the face to the camera and acting kiddish. I would recommend a more professional approach. After all, he is meant to be a coach so needs to carry that "aura" with people signing up.
Other than that, the site looks great and is very well done. Best of luck and please add me to your list if you update and add more content. :snooker:Mayur Jobanputra, Snooker Coach and Snooker Enthusiast

Thanks for the feedback - really appreciate your comments.
I am not sure about putting the best content on the homepage as standalone videos, however I really like the idea of doing a trailer that includes some of the best clips - perhaps that would help to spice things up a bit more.
Although Im not sure I agree the intro video is not very mature.....I would say its quite dry. We filmed it at the end of the day and I think Daniel was quite tired by then and his personality doesn't come across as well as it could of.
As for Daniel, I understand many people will not know who he is, however he is still young and was on the professional tour when the site was launched. Unfortunately he dropped off it for this season but has been playing well, he is currently 14th on the PTC order of merit (the highest ranked amateur player) so hopefully over the next few years he will start to make a few televised tournaments and become more well known.
Anyway, once again thanks for the feedback. I am going to email the company who filmed it all about editing together a trailer and see if I can get one up fairly soon

It's on the homepage directly under Daniels intro video - let me know what you think if you get chance to check it out
