  • Feet on the line of aim

I'm right handed and have been reading various posts about having
your foot (or feet ) on the line of aim. Can anyone clarify if it's just
my back foot I should have on the line of aim. I normally have it
pointed out to the right at say the 3 o'clock position, have tried
to move it the 12 o'clock position so It's directly on the line of aim and
must admit my potting improved however it started to ache and become
uncomfortabe. Now of course this is because it's new and my body will
be adapting but wanted to see if there are any benifits.......Also what
about my front foot (left foot) where should my toes be pointing ?
    Would appreciate some help.

Roughly speaking, the laces of your right foot (if you are right handed) should be on the line of the shot.

The angle of your feet is not important. But comfort and stability is important.

Generally the line is from the heel of your right foot(for right handed players) and point your foot in whatever direction feels comfortable to you.

I find that if I deliberately put any part of my foot on the line of aim I tend to miss. I stand with my body centre to the shot and on my walk in don't even think about where my right foot is. Although I'm sure it is on the line.

Seen a pro talk about it on utube and seems to me and what I use is left foot parallel to shot line and right foot off 45 degrees to start. I think what is important to watch for is unwanted torgue in the body
