  • Shots where there is a Ball right where your Bridge hand usually goes ?

    You know the shots, it's not a case of bridging over balls, it's when there is a ball smack bang where your bridge hand usually would go for the shot

    So do you put your bridge hand behind the ball and have a longer bridge ? or in front of the ball and have a mega short bridge ?

    I've been putting it in front of the ball but it makes my stroke pokey and i don't think it's the right thing to do

    longer bridge if i have to play that shot, will look for alternatives with easier cueing first though

      I find THIS BRIDGE very useful in the situation you've described. The bridge will be a bit longer but you'll still be able to cue with relative ease. The obstructing ball will ideally fall within the gap created between your extended index & little fingers. :snooker:
