Yes its expensive, but if you want the best then you have to pay for it. I must admit when I learned the price I did have second thoughts but now I have been I don't regret it.
Terry is a great bloke and he has set me straight on many things which I desperately needed. He changed alot of things in my technique and he actually got quite excited when he changed a few things and dramatically increased the quality of my hits. 9 out 10 in quality apparently (10 is not possible lol )

Just awaiting my feedback now as he will emailing me a review of what we worked on etc...

Nobody is disputing his credentials , but £120 per hour is way too expensive imo . You can have a days coaching , with overnight stay , full board and unlimited snooker for £150 at Dell Hill,s farm .

well the hourly rate thing is a bit false because I got there at 10.30 and the coaching finished at about 1.30 and played on practicing fro another hour (could have stayed all day) .

Still expensive but hey, I am at piece with my cue action now and thats priceless

I had a day with Terry about 13-14 years ago it was £100 for the day then NOW THAT WAS VALUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But guys just think what a golf pro charges 40-£50 for 1/2 hour and thats just a normal pro. So is Terry really that expensive for coaching by one of the finest.IT WOULD COST MORE to be coached by one of the best golf coaches thats for sure.

If it was 13/14 years ago then you should have gone to Frank Callan! Now he was value!

Why do you say circle is being disrespectful? He is allowed to have an opinion, as does everybody.

It was a general comment about the price stated - if you want to take it personally then feel free

Circle mate, you posted it immidiately after his declaration about taking lessons, so regardless of whether it was your intention to offend, which there's no reason it would be, isn't it easier to hold your hands up and say "oops" ?

We all balls up sometimes. It's not always deliberately, but the guy still could have been afforded a little more tact, especially one post up.

                          All the best.

I don't think he meant you personally bud, but I can see why you might have been offended.

Shake hands and kisses are normally a good way forward.

The man is amazing. Expect a painful back and leg if your position is not exact as he keeps you in position for ages whilst measuring everything to make sure it is millimetre perfect, and I mean perfect. You will come away in no doubt as to your weaknesses and how to correct them (notes are sent to you after being typed up and four years on I still go back to them). Down to earth too. He described my cuing action as "like milking a cow.....and then shi##ing in the bucket"!! but by god after the laughing he changed me from a 35 break best to a 59 best in competition within a very short period. Listen carefully to get the most out of him and you will have the day of your life.

So true. My back and hamstrings are killing me today. He did get his ruler and tape measure on me to! and he drew a pencil mark on my cue where my thumb should be!.. I was a little perturbed about this as its a trevor white!.. when he got the marker pen out at the end of the session I said the pencil mark would serfice!!!!

All top notch tho, have my notes through no so alot of work ahead :snooker:
