I was going to post something similar, so I hope you don't mind me giving my thoughts, I have change practice table down the club back to my old table, I found the pockets really tight and kept missing. I didn't realise how tight this table was and that I had been getting away with sloppy potting for about a year now. I was struggling to pot more than a few balls on the line up but kept trying different things until I started to find my accuracy
The point of the post is that I would have never realised how sloppy I had become if I hadn't changed table and therefore would not have found out where I was going wrong.
I think the saying that you learn from mistakes can be applied here and I thing you would be better off using this time trying different things and see if any thing helps your game. Let’s face it if you’re playing well and potting everything you’re not really learning anything.
I can remember Steve Davis saying something along these lines years back.
