Hi Terry;
I'm practicing long backswing with cuetip about inch, inch and a half from my thumb. Also I tried with the cue tip to the ferrule. In that case I have to lower my elbow to keep horizontal. Do you think that practicing back swing to the ferrule is the way to go in order to get used to the long backswing and then, once mastered that use long backswing not all the way to the ferrule?
It is a good sensation when you get the ferrule to the thumb and start accelerating in the delivery but many times I get out of line in the fordward thrust.
Thanks
