Hi everyone, i cue fairly well with most of the shots. However, I've got this cueing problem of not curing straight when I am playing a soft shot with a slow delivery. I've found out that I couldn't cue straight when I use a slow delivery or short back swing. As a result, I've to use a medium back swing for most of the shots and I have to minimize my follow through (since I am deliver the cue at a medium pace) for soft shots. I always cue to the left without doing so. Please offer some tips and advice, thanks!

Try shortening the bridge, and bringing the grip hand up the cue by the same amount, plus a little bit more. Then use a short back swing and simply push the cue right through into your chest.
Many players attempt to slow/stop the cue on delivery for soft shots, this introduces tension and this is the cause of the movement and bad cueing.
This doesn't apply to the really, really, really soft shots like a roll up for a snooker. On these you have just about no back swing and no follow through."Do unto others 20% better than you would expect them to do unto you, to correct for subjective error"
