Going from 100 breaks to 20 breaks does seem a bit odd mate. Still, I'm not questioning it! I played 10am - 5am today by the end of it I was sloppy, tired, and my head wasn't in the game.. Start missing silly shots! As said above, it's all about being fresh, clear headed and having full concentration, without that we're all doomed! :encouragement:

I agree with Jake... That is the reason why professional matches in tournaments are played in sessions so that the players can keep fresh. Also this is why we call it playing snooker in sessions or intervals. If you practice or play for longer periods it is better to take breaks and go out of the club if possible and relax and then resume; trust me it works...!"I am still endeavouring to meet someone funnier than my life" - Q. Not entirely related to snooker, but my other interest is music - I play the keyboard.
I had a break of a couple of months and just went back to it this morning. It's amazing how my playing seems to have IMPROVED even after the break - it just seems a lot more pleasurable to play and my concentration is much better.
I'm sure that it's easy to get stale playing (music or snooker) so even though it seems counter-intuitive a break every now and then might be just the thing.
