50 break feed back

Hi all, made this 50+ today would like some general feed back on all aspects good and bad.

I tried to watch with sound. But someones cue sounded absolutely awful

Nicely done Caz... I thought it's end of break when you got on the wrong side of the blue. Your opponent would certainly be hoping so... Lol.

At 03:15min, you ran 3 cushions to recover position... not sure if the angle is there but wouldn't it be better to play one cushion off the blue with a bit of running side, cue ball between green and brown for that single loose red? I think it'll be more controlled that way.

Also, at 04:00min, not sure if you missed hitting the pink full? I think the last red would be on if the cue ball had made a fuller contact on the pink.

Well, I know I'm picking bones here but you did ask for comments...

On the whole, I think it's a rather good solid break.

Nice to see your pushing ya arm out now caz, but not on all shots i see..

Quick looksy and i notice You bob the cue up/down when feathering at times...(for want of a better term)

You super speed up the backswing for 'power'....

And almost jump up on shots 'eagerly' at times almost before you have even struck the ball

I won't get all tech, keep it simples me.....


But apart from that not bad caz, shoulda made more with table 'set' like that though eh....lol...

Yes the arm is straighter and as a result there is a lot less movement as for it not being straight on all shots, that is something that all the pros do on certain shots especially Ronnie (but point taken).
With regards to the feathers I'm aware of what is called a pump handle cue action which all coaches would advise against but after study videos of henry when he was younger I've noticed that he had a pump handle cue action and was a lot better player back then.
You are bang on about the movement on power shots (lurching into shots) would like more feed back on this aspect.
I realise that the cue action is more of a swing, and I did change my action after seeing Del Hill and will most probably go back to this. But also tempted to just play my game warts and all!
Even with all these apparent faults I'm hitting the ball really well and am scoring quite well. I would say that my biggest problem and is one that no one picked on, is that I need to slow down a bit. I would love to get a average shot time of around 15 seconds. I think I'm to fast at the moment although the cold in the club is also not helping. Other things to take on board is that the cloth is around two years old so every power shot needs a lot more than that of what you see on the telly.

I don't know if that shot was on but it is a shot that I don't use a lot but need to practice as your dead right it is a better shot to play.

Right about the pink as well, a fully contact would have sent the red towards the right corner. But on this table a contact is a good contact. !

LOL who is that dude? He is in there alot. The "ting" noise does my head in within about 10mins of being there. what kind of cue/tip is that? sounds like its on a spring or something!

You deserved a better split on the last red soley on the fact your brave enough to wear to tshirt in that place!

I did have a thermal vest on under that top but still cold. role on the summer.
