hi all, had 2 hours coaching with del at the snooker farm today. If anybody is looking to improve there cue action, aiming and potting skills i would reccomend booking a session or 2 .

Ideal. Thanks for the feedback. Still need to get my ass up there sometime. ( Full time slacker and family issues atm ).

Dell's advice is spot on and although I move away from some of his advice I have now gone full circle and am coming back to all his advice. I thing when you learn something new it takes a long time to introduce it to your style so that it's come naturally and does not take your focus away from the table.

I have been to the snooker farm several times now and Del uses this technique where he covers your eyes to make sure you aim before you get down on the shot. I use it often in solo practice if i start missing easy pot. Del is a top bloke and a great coach.

i have been meaning to visit. aside from my commitments, del seems to be away every now and then when i am avaliable.
i don't own a car, and after looking at his location, how do i get there by train?

Would love to go, just not keen on the travel involved.

It looks more like he is tearing the poor pupil's head off Hilarious picture.

Of course no pun intended to this great coach.

You would want to either get a train to Skegness or Boston both are well within a 20 minute drive to Del's and although it's rural here we do have taxis lol :snooker:

It appears Del is taking my 'closed eye' routine to the next level and ensuring the pupil doesn't cheat. I'll have to try this one myself although note Del has the student on a fairly simple shot around the black.

But this also works on long blue from the yellow or green spots too

i do this anyway by using the rare technique of being half blind!
