My favorite table and possibly the best table in the Atherstone and Nuneaton Snooker League. The infamous Coton Cons table. Great table to practice on Jack, why have you started to look at your cue action ?

Mark, I haven't pal. I won't be making any changes to my action at all.

Simply posted a video because I was curious as to what the experts would make of it. Also, to show some members that it's not worth destroying your mind over every subtle nuance in your cue action.

I've never bothered too seriously with it and I like to think of myself as a fair player. I think over analysing the basics does more damage than good.

You were stroking it well and going thought the ball well before that shot. An amount of bottom plus stroke would have held you easy. Hope this helps.
Could have threw a weak shot in there. As I said before, barely get the time to practice these days so perhaps my cue action screws need tightening. I can play all the shots Saint, sure you've been guilty of less that the purest concentration when playing the mundane line-up?

          Hi pottr.

I notice your shoulder/elbow stick out to the right. Then as you play the shot you turn your wrist to keep your cue on line.

Have you ever paid attention/noticed this wrist movement?

I only noticed it myself because I have a similar stance/technique!

HI For what i have seen of your video you are a pretty good player all you need is a coach to correct certain problems other than that one day you will break the 100 points cheers Leonard

Yeah, my elbow does stick out a touch. Might work on that when I get my own table, who knows? Don't really notice any wrist movement, my grip's pretty consistent and I like to think my delivery is too.

100 points as in a century break? I can assure you, I have cracked that barrier several times over. Pretty much knock one in whenever i have a session of 10 frames or more. Made my first when I was 15. Used to have a notebook with the wheres and whens but lost it when I was about 19, think I was about 70 or so in by then.
Just can't seem to get a decent chance at the maximum, but I need to play more for sure.

Exactly, a decent player clears the lineout on autopilot.
